3 Students have made the world of difference by taking on the 12k’s of Christmas!
As part of the Youth Enterprise Challenge, Josh, Max and Henry took on the ultimate task of running 1k on day 1, 2k on day 2 and so on until 12k on their 12th day, all the while raising much needed funds for Rossendale Hospice.
Despite a thick downpour of snow on their 12th day, the 3 students from Bacup and Rawtenstall Grammer School (BRGS) still completed the challenge, running a total of 78 kilometres in just 12 days!
The Youth Enterprise Challenge asks for students to raise as much money as they can from £50, through a variety of fundraising activities and they did not disappoint! Not only did they absolutely smash the challenge, they raised a total of £1, 434.24 including gift aid from their Just Giving page!
Their contribution to the hospice is incredible and that is only 1 part of the Youth Enterprise challenge, we are very much looking forward to seeing what other fundraising activities they come up with.
