The majority of items will have been donated by people just like, choosing Rossendale Hospice as their donation point of choice, knowing the sale of their items will help fund amazing community work. You wil find:

All our items are carefully vetted for quality, cleanliness and stock is updated daily.

We love curating our windows to local or special events so if something in your community is happening, chances you you'll find something in our shops to help you be on theme.
 

Currently, we'd like to only accept donations on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, to allow our volunteers time to process them properly.

If you have a need to donate at another time, please get in touch with the shop in advance. (numbers above)



 

Unfortunately, there are items our shops cannot accept as donations, either for logictical or legal reasons. 
Items we CANNOT accept are: 

Furniture

o    All furniture - due to space issues and Manual Handling Risks

Electrical Items

o    Large/Heavy Items  - Due to space issues and Manual Handling Risks
o    Electric Blankets
o    Power tools without instructions
o    Televisions 
o    All electric items that cannot be plugged in – e.g Ceiling/wall lighting,
o    Showers (they cannot be PAT tested)

Heating and Cooking

o    Gas Appliances – Mains or Bottled
o    Oil Filled Radiators
o    Storage Heaters

Sports & Safety Equipment

o    Bicycles
o    Buoyancy Aids -  Life Jackets Arm Bands Inflatable Dinghies        
o    Safety Helmets – Cycle Helmets, Riding Hats, Crash Helmets
o    Safety Harnesses of any sort
o    Fire Fighting Equipment
o    Large/Heavy items of Fitness Equipment 

Childrens Equipment

o    Children’s Car Seats
